How our scoring works ▾
Every official score is the average of four honest opinions, Andrew, Drew, Mark and Shawn, each scoring out of 4 in half-point steps. Here's what the tiers mean:
Buy It means put a bottle on your shelf; Must Try means hunt it down and taste it if you spot it at the bar. Because it's a four-person average, a score usually lands between the round numbers (a 3.25 sits in "Must Try"). Standard reviews are not blind (only Dram Wheel challenges are). No sponsors, no snob points.
The score is free. The fit is coming to the app.
